The place is nice, and has everything I need, free wi-fi, a bar lounge, and comfortable rooms. The staff even helped me find my lost barrette on my first stay. Highly recommend it for a relaxing experience! I'm coming back for Christmas....

The twin room was heated and modern for boiling water for tea. The location was marvellous for traveling around Roncesvalles, near church in the town square and near the albergue, Pamplona and the monastery...

Be prepared for some quirks. There are two separate rooms for breakfast, which can be confusing-kept stumbling into the wrong one. It's a bit of a trek to the upper floors, especially after a long day. Lastly, the dining experience could be slow during peak hours, and while the food is alright, don't expect it to blow your mind.

Great hotel in historic environment. Beautiful, clean, calm.
Since there are som many pilgrims staying at the hotel, and they get up at 5.30.6.30 to start walking you wish that the otel started to serve breakfast at those hours. Now breakfast is served when the pilgrims are kilometrers away from the hotel.

Really good stay in a historical hotel
After a long day on the Camino, I was thrilled to find this historical hotel. The beautifully renovated room felt luxurious and offered a comfortable retreat. I particularly enjoyed the generous breakfast buffets with fresh pastries and local flavors that prepared me for the next hike. The only downside was the delayed check-in experience, which could be improved.

My room was large, light, clean and functional. It was remarkably good value.
Breakfast was over-priced and involved queuing for hours to get a hot drink from the single automatic hot drinks machine. I had the misfortune to reach the breakfast room at the same time as a group of some 30 people and, in the end I gave up waiting!
